Our first Zorg en ICT Event with House of Trust and what an experience

What enthusiasm! It was great to speak with so many different healthcare professionals and suppliers in the sector. The common thread was clear: information security is high on the agenda for many of you.

In early April, we attended the Zorg en ICT conference in Utrecht for the very first time. For House of Trust, it was a milestone and we can honestly say: we didn't expect it to be such a positive experience.

We were at the Cybersecurity Square, stand 07.CYBER06, surrounded by organizations that share our belief that information security in healthcare is anything but a side issue. The energy on the floor was great, busy, sometimes even a little too busy to hear each other clearly, but that says something about the engagement of the people walking around. Healthcare professionals, IT managers, policymakers: everyone has a story and an opinion on cybersecurity, and it was great fun to get into those conversations and talk about what we do at House of Trust.

What struck us is how much awareness has grown. NEN 7510, ISO 27001, the upcoming Cybersecurity Act, the Wet Diaz, and the role of NEN 7518 in digital access to healthcare, these are no longer abstract concepts. People know what's going on. But the step towards demonstrable compliance? For many organizations, there's still a world to be gained there.

That's exactly where House of Trust comes in. With our ISaaS service, we build and manage the ISMS of healthcare organizations, from gap assessment to ongoing management by specialists. So the organization can focus on care, and we focus on compliance. We also guide organizations working with trust services, think NEN 7518, eIDAS and ETSI certification trajectories.

We'd love to see everyone again next year. And maybe we'll meet sooner, because the conversations that started at the conference are ones we're happy to continue.
